It makes sense to start this branch with earlier photos, with some being from earlier Walmsley's and some earlier French's since my father is a Walmsley and my mother a French.  However, to begin with, I will start with a more contemporary explanation which will set the stage for now and the past

.My father, George Philip Walmsley, Sr. was born April 05, 1915 at Indianappolis, Indiana to Clifford Prentice Walmsley and Charlotte Catherine (Sailer) Walmsley.  He has a  sister, Martha Reed Walmsley Ford and a half brother, Roger Clarence Wamsley. Roger's mother was Ester (Tideman) Wamsley. My dad died August 5th, 2006 at Naples, Florida almost a week after surgery.

My mother, Jane Roberta (Bobbie) French was born August 16, 1913 at Rochester, New York to John James French and Annie Edith (Burns) French.  My mother had four sisters, Mabel Vivian French,  Muriel Burns French, Edith Ruth French and Ruby French - Ruby died as an infant 3 mos old.  At this time all the girls are deceased. My mother died June 1st, 1989 in Naples, Florida.

My sister, Donna Jane (Eaise) Walmsley and I, George Philip Walmsley, Jr., were born March 31st, 1943 and March 20th, 1937 respectively at Philadelphia, Penna.

Born to Donna through her marriage with Kenneth Eaise were 3 children, Kenny Jr., Kim and Steven.

Born to George through his marriage to Eileen Greenwood 9/1/1962 was 1 child, Michele Desiree.

My daughter, Michele Desiree, born September 18, 1963 married Frank Gumpper in 1984 at Maple Shade, N.J. and gave birth to Christina Walmsley Gumpper - June 8th, 1985 at Camden, N.J.

Born to my second wife, Gloria P., one son, J Scott Gebhard. We married May 1978, no issue. Gloria died December 5, 1992.

This picture represents the earliest known picture of my mother, Jane Roberta (Bobbie) French, held by her mother, (Left) Annie Edith (Burns) French - Her father, John J. French left rear and Annie Edith's sister to the right, Louisa (Burns) DeLong and her husband Robert, holding Eunice Mabel Delong, their daughter and first cousin to my mother.  Sitting in front are my mother's 3 sisters, Muriel, Ruth and Mabel French.  It is believed that this picture was taken in Massachusettes.
