"A Miracle  .  .  .
The Water That Quenches Illusion!"
 

Out of conflicting states of mind chaos feeds disorder to an already disordered mind.  We take from our bag of memory a myriad of tapes authored by our very own ego and play those tapes over, and over, and yet over once again.   Only here in this sandbox of TIME and SPACE  can such a state of mind be experienced.  We call this collection of experiences . . . THE  WHOLE PHENOMINAL UNIVERSE!

               Yes, a world of duality where opposites give meaning to opposites and serve to keep the mind separated - REALITY Vs. ILLUSION!  Indeed, a world of physical matter, which through the looking glass that we call, "experience", a dream state can be mistaken for all that is - REALITY.

               Magic is what Jesus has told us in ACIM is the process of substituting effect for cause; perception in our dream-world for knowledge, special love for love, and illusion for reality.

               When will it end?  How will it end?  These are questions raised by a mind that wants to leave the dark side of Time & Space, in search of the light of peace.  Each of us must answer this question in a way that sets our path to Peace as the inner journey.

            Karl Marx once said that religion was the opiate of the people.  He may well have been right.  We have given a certain power to the idea of God and what God Is and Is not.  From a fear based world we fuel its fires, praying for peace of mind when chaos seems to run rampant; giving thanks to the super-natural when all seems to turn well once again, and blaming these same forces when it does not.

                           We call this thinking, religious.  Everyone has a worldly cache of religion - even the "atheist".
