While I may quote liberally from A Course in Miracles, or the two supplemental pamphlets: Psychotherapy
Purpose,Process and Practice and The Song of Prayer, I hold forth the caveat that nothing found among these pages will necessarily reflect endorsement from The Foundation for Inner Peace, nor The Foundation for A Course
in Miracles, (The illustrious teaching arm of ACIM, headed by Dr. Kenneth Wapnick, whose works I would never endeavor to improve upon)
But, while
I am about the work of disclosures, I would like to give credit to my main source of instruction that may lead toward a hopeful enlightenment . . . but, for now at least, the helpful taming of my right minded ego will
suffice. The accolades go to three persons. My ACIM Teachers of God, George Meskimen and a dear spirit, Terese Bontempo, at Unity of Naples Church in Naples, Florida; and Dr. Kenneth Wapnick, at the Foundation for a
Course in Miracles at Roscoe, New York. Terese has layed her form to rest in early 1999 and will be sorely missed by us all. May we bless her with a great new experience should her journey continue in this
"grand" illusion of time. As tribute to them I would like to say that if the ego has a "Rogues" gallery, these three people should share the top of that list as, "public (ego) enemy
#1".
Through constant interaction in their classes, or Ken's books, tapes, and workshops, my absorption of ACIM priciples has been
accelerated to a fundamental level that has brought me much peace and self assurance in The Course and the world I see.
And, of course, to all my
classmates who have helped in the process of providing lessons here in the classroom of "life". |
