AlphaXOmega Enterprises extends a welcome to you and says, "thanks for visiting our website." AlphaXOmega Enterprises is just our broad handle and covers several things we do. One of the things we do is offer inexpensive World Wide Web publishing for small businesses, organizations, or individuals who would like a presence on the internet.

What does that mean?

It means we can help make your web pages - including graphics, sound, your message and/or sales promotion in the language of the internet in the manner you choose.
It means we can publish to the WWW your pages with your own address (Uniform Resource Locator - URL).
It also means we can assist you getting started "spreading the word" through search engines. This is a chief means of listing your address so people can locate you. However, an extra charge which is slightly higher will prevail due to the extra work involved. On the other hand, we will provide you with the means to reach around 200 search engines on your own. This is a never ending task - getting found. We encourage you to learn it well.

NOTE: Now for a little of the technical stuff. Some major revisions took place in July/August 2000. OC48 lines replaced T3's (which we used to have) and are much faster. A T3 transfers at 43 megabits a second or about 4.3 megabytes per second. This is fast, but nothing like an OC48. One OC48 transfers at 2.488 gigabits per second! They are also redundant, meaning they're from different providers. So if one fails, the others won't. Not bored yet? Read on!

Our major platform used is Linux, however if the user wants, they could have a Windows 2000 platform. You will probably get the same amount of speed, so to the average person it would not make a difference. It generally only matters if a user wants to do some programming on a Windows platform. All servers can play streaming audio and video because of the high speed lines. And any platform can use activex pages, cascading style sheets and frontpage extensions. The routers and switches are standard for any Internet environment. They allow high speed data transferring and sharing amounts with many different servers.
